Our Pack number is: Pack 15

Our Scouting Council and District are:

Pack/Den Meetings: Our Pack meets Tuesdays at 6-7PM at Weaverville United Methodist Church on Main Street in Weaverville. We meet in the educational building to the left of the main church.

Hikes, camping trips, and outings: We typically go on a Fall pack camping trip, a Spring pack camping trip, two other council led campouts, and other special overnight outings which change each year (examples: zoo, caves, museums, USS Yorktown. There will also be several day hikes and possibly other day trips throughout the year. Attendance for all events is optional, but often fulfill adventure requirements to earn rank.

Special Events: Throughout the year, we will be holding several special events. These include: 

• Halloween Trunk or Treat

• Thanksgiving Potluck 

• Pinewood Derby…and more! 

Summer Day Camp: Each year, the Daniel Boone Council puts on Summer day camps for scouts at different locations around Western North Carolina. Sign-up is available in the Spring, and fundraisers like Camp Cards can help your Pack, and also offset the cost to attend.

National/Council Annual Fees - $135

• Covers Insurance, Program development, Support for Pack from Council, Council events, Leader Training

• $50 discount for new scouts bring 1st year down to $85

Pack 15 Annual Dues - $70

• Covers Pack operating expenses (awards, T-shirts, events, den leader supplies, etc.)

• Collected directly by the pack

Cub Scout Uniform - ~$70

• Highly encouraged, but not required, to be a part of the pack and display your awards

Overnight campouts, trips, etc. - Dependent on trip - Typically $10-20 for a campout
